I love today’s quote of unknown origin. I have found it blessedly true. I pray that your life is graced with at least one good friend…
“A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.”
An old friend gave me these words in a pretty little frame for my birthday a long time ago. I thought they were beautiful and was blessed to think she would relate them to me. Now I see that they were prophetic… She has walked away from the LORD and I am waiting patiently for the leading of the Holy Spirit to “sing the song for her that she has forgotten”. I want it to be His Timing and His Words so she recognizes that it is His Voice and not mine. The wait is difficult, but my heart is ready.
